You may not immediately recognize the name Nadia Caterina Munno, but when you hear @ThePastaQueen, you know this food-obsessed Roman for her witty food-related videos and her pasta demos on Instagram and for her celebrated cookbook, The Pasta Queen: A Just Gorgeous Cookbook.
Nadia learned everything kitchen from her nonna and now she wants to pass that knowledge on to you. At this dynamic Demo & Dine event, set in the state-of-the-art show kitchen, Platform by JBF, at the newly opened Pier 57, you’ll get to watch the Pasta Queen live and in action, everyone of her hand gestures and screams of “mamma mia” are sure to thrill everyone in attendance. And best of all, when she’s done showing you how to up your pasta game, you’ll get eat what she just cooked.

Nadia Caterina Munno, also known as “The Pasta Queen,” is an Italian-born chef, social media star, entrepreneur, author and mom-of-four with Italy in her blood. Her family, known in Rome as the “Macaronis,” has been making pasta and wine in their factory in Southern Italy since the 1800s. Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
