Celebrating Their New Cookbook with a Cooking Demo and Tasting

25 11th Ave, New York, NY 10011, USA

Founded in 2014 by Lisa Kyung Gross, the daughter of a Korean immigrant and a Jewish New Yorker, The League of Kitchens is a unique cooking school that empowers immigrant women to share culinary expertise and culture through hands-on cooking workshops, both in their homes and online. The newly published The League of Kitchens Cookbook gives readers the tools to make cherished recipes from around the world right at home in their own kitchens.
Join Lisa Kyung Gross with League of Kitchen Afghani instructor Nawida Saidhosin and Indonesian instructor Shandra Woworuntu for a cooking demonstration, tasting, and conversation that celebrates the traditions of family recipes passed down from generations and the invaluable contributions of immigrants to our food culture and society.
