About LaTreace Harris:
LaTreace Harris is a Certified Cicerone ® and the owner of The Beery Godmother LLC, a beer education consulting company that provides training services to beer-facing entities as well as public-facing education, and other beer-related programming for breweries, brewpubs, and establishments that serve beer. She started the company in early 2022 after being an avid beer drinker and former in-home tutor of math and science for 15 years. The Beery Godmother combines her love of beer and education.
In the past year she has been involved in a multitude of activities including training brewery staff in Atlanta and Charlotte, North Carolina, hosting a Beer 101 education session for the public at Firemaker Brewing, participating in beer collaborations with Social Fox and Biggerstaff Brewing, moderating sessions during the “Crafted For Action Beer Conference” in Atlanta, and servingas a beer and malt judging participant.   Most recently, she launched “Beer Fact Fridays” on Instagram, a weekly segment geared towards delivering simple, tangible facts about beer to the novice and the aficionado. LaTreace has also won several scholarships for women who are launching beer businesses, including the” Women of the Bevolution Grant.”

About Harlem Hops:
As minority business owners and operators, the Harlem Hops Chelsea team is especially pleased to feature the growing number of brewers of color on their beer list. From superstars like Brooklyn Brewery’s Garrett Oliver and Harlem Brewing Company’s Celeste Beatty, to countless new entries from New York, Ohio, Atlanta, and elsewhere, Black Beer Culture has become an integral part of America’s craft beer community, and the team celebrates that—to share, and pour, and advocate for these great beers made by African American brewers.

The Harlem Hops Partners:
Stacey Lee Spratt is co-founder of Haute Behavior LLC, a full-service marketing firm and a seasoned event planner with 20+ years' experience. She has consulted in the opening of restaurants in Atlanta and elsewhere and has leveraged her vast experience with Harlem Hops.
Kim Harris, Harlem born and bred, is the Founder of Painting It Red, a boutique Event Production firm. A devout foodie and craft beer connoisseur, her restaurant consulting experience led to the inspiration for the Harlem Hops concept.
Kevin Bradford, beer expert and curator, is a native Detroiter, now a Harlem resident and a math teacher, who has traveled as far away as South Africa to sample a new beer. A beer collector since college, a member of the 1,000+ strong Brothers In Beer club, and host of his home “Breakfast & Beer” happenings, Kevin’s motto is Harlem Hops’ own: “There’s no reason why you shouldn’t drink GOOD beer!”

About Christina Thomas:
Christina Thomas, the founder of Brown Girl's Brew, was inspired by her mother's passion for food and desserts, which led her to create a line of unique dessert beer flavors based on her mother's authentic recipes. The admiration she has for her parents & their legacy fueled her entrepreneurial spirit, and in 2010, she created Brown Girl's Brew. "It's not just a beer, but a movement," with bold flavors and sweet aromas that transcend you to happier times filled with joy.
