About GupShup:
GupShup, meaning "Chit-Chat or hanging out" is a commonly used slang in the South Asian dialect. It's "not your average" modern Indian hangout, and the focus has been to marry Indian flavors with a modern twist. GupShup is an ode to 1970's Bombay mansion with brass, gold, wood and antique mirrors and chandeliers on both floors, with household belongings throughout the space. GupShup since inception has aimed to bring a piece of romance and nostalgia from Bombay to the Big Apple. GupShup has been recognized by the New York Times, Infatuation, Thrillist, Forbes, Conde Nast, Time Out magazine, Fortune, GrubStreet, Town & Country to name a few, and Eater has named GupShup one of the hottest new restaurants for past 10 consecutive months since it opened, and Alpha Sixty calls it a ”smorgasbord for the stomach, and the eyes.
