Brews and Barbecue: Tex-Mex Barbecue and Craft Beer Brunch

Sample San Antonio’s proud Texan, Mexican, and Black cultures through the full flavors of barbecue and hecho a mano (handmade) craft beer. Chef Andrew Samia, owner of South BBQ & Kitchen and Dignowity Meats, and a James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: Texas, is bringing his take on authentic Central Texas barbecue to New York City! You’ll dine on tender, slow-smoked meats served family-style and paired with beer selected by Marcus Baskerville of the James Beard Outstanding Bar semifinalist Weathered Souls Brewing Co. Guests will also be treated to a tasting of Weathered Souls’ unique brews, including their renowned Black is Beautiful, a beer movement they created to bring awareness and fundraise for civil rights across the country.
