Led by award-winning baker Reva Castillenti, you’ll learn how to craft the iconic New York bagel by hand-shaping the dough and mastering the essential techniques of boiling and baking. Enjoy hot-out-of-the-oven bagels complemented by a selection of classic spreads, including smoked fish, while sipping on mimosas and coffee. Learn about the storied history of the New York bagel with "Bagel Ambassador" Sam Silverman, who traces its humble beginnings to its rise as an iconic staple. Attendees will take home bagels, techniques, and a recipe to keep the bagel journey rolling at home.
